Job title : Superintendent Engineer – Singapore Bunkering Station
Location : Singapore
Job role :
Responsible for the technical supervision of the local fleet (6 vessels).
Planning, controlling and execution of all activities related with the maintenance, repairs, survey & certificates requirements of the vessels.
Daily troubleshooting of technical problems of any nature, in close cooperation with vessels’ officers.
Authorising all necessary vessel orders for stores, spares, repairs and survey within limits of authority.
Working closely with the Singapore Station Manager and Marine Superintendent to ensure that repairs of all reported deficiencies, damages and non-conformities are cleared as quickly as possible.
Candidate Profile :
Previous experience as Fleet Manager or Superintendent Engineer in a shipping company technical department.
Seagoing experience as Chief Engineer in crude, product or chemical tankers.
Fluent in English.
Fluency in Mandarin will be a strong advantage.
Computer literate.
